I would like to start by saying that I am from Peru :) the environment is was impressive to be honest. It is true that there is no better food in this world like the Peruvian and this is shown at Peruwiana in Wroclaw. The Lomo saltado is one of the best ones I have ever tried in my life, I want to compare them to the ones they do in Peru. The meat was awesome and I have no words to describe how happy I felt eating eat being so far from my home country. It was nice as well having an Inca kola (maybe the most expensive I have ever had, but understandable since no one sells it in Poland). The Ceviche and Chica Morada were a bit disappointing, again I have lived 20 years of my life in Peru and maybe I could sound a bit harsh, but that was not Chicha - I believe it is almost impossible to bring the corn we have in Peru, but selling something with that name gave me hopes that ended up giving me sad impressions. Regarding the Ceviche, it was a good try but far from what Peru has to offer, maybe the fish was not the best? Last thing there are some spelling/knowledge mistakes in the menu, for example one I remember is “Suspiro de Limeña” which is actually called “Suspiro a la Limeña” or “Kurczak ají de Gallina”, which doesn’t make sense since Gallina is not chicken but hen, do you are saying chicken ají de hen. Probably most people don’t know the meaning of gallina but sounds a bit tricky to be honest. That can tell that the owner isn’t a compatriot, but still I loved your restaurant and would love to help with anything if needed. Best wishes, and keep it like that, sharing the best cuisine of the world with Poland...
Read moreNice restaurant with a diverse menu. Started with the calamari tacos. They were superb with excellent flavour - however for 25zl, I was surprised when there was only two of them (which were rather small). For this price point, there should be 3 in my opinion.
For mains we had the ceviche & the bacon teriyaki.
Ceviche was a well balanced dish, however it was lacking the zestiness that is usually common in these type of dishes. However, if you want a ceviche in Wrocław this is definitely the place to try it.
The Boczek Teriyaki was good - cooked perfectly with fries and two sauces. Not so sure about the presentation with clam shells, however the dish was good.
Unfortunately we found a piece of plastic in the ceviche, in which we notified the staff. We received an apology & there was a reduction in our final bill.
For our dessert we had “Tres Leches”. Excellent moist cake with super flavour. However it was let down with the inclusion of the mango and pomegranate which does not complement the cake.
Would I come back again? Yes, only if they developed new items into their menu. Majority of the dishes we received was garnished with this mango and cranberry salsa combination, which I don’t agree with. It works with some dishes, but...
Read moreUPDATE: it gave me food poisoning, I’ve been sick since past Sunday and I am still not fully recovered. So 1 star now. the staff, they were kind and were fast. Let me just say I don’t usually leave bad reviews but The food was horrid. I would say it’s false advertising, the lomo saltado although tasty was NOT like they prepare it in Peru, it had huge chunks of bell pepper and chives (!) it came with a maracuya sauce that I honestly wouldn’t even dream on mixing, definitely not like the way is made anywhere in Peru but by far the worst was the “ceviche” it was SWEET!!!! I know we can’t find the same ingredients or maybe even we can’t find them fresh but having a Leche de Tigre that’s is sweet at this point is an offense, it tasted like golf sauce and there wasn’t a single drop of lemon on it. I can forgive the choclo (corn) being dry and old, the musty onions and obviously the fact that the fish is not even remotely similar but sweet?!?! And call it ceviche, do us a favor and add the word “fusion” or “our version “ because that’s most certainly NOT the way we eat it in Peru and you would be lying to the costumers. There was also this weird red balls that were also sweet. 0/10 not...
