Bar Beer Corner — Restaurant in Albufeira

Not 1 of the best bars in albufeira and not so friendly either. We were walking through and been to other bars in the square and thought since we not been here we would try it. This was the only place we had to pay before we got a drink which seemed strange and were a little shocked as we were on our last day holiday and been in Portugal for a week and never been asked to pay before we got drinks/food. So we paid, and they said they would be back with the drinks they brought the drinks back over and kept the change we were meant to have back normally this would not have bothered us if we had table service all night. I asked for the change and the waiter there looked so shocked and a look of disgust on his face. Like I said if we had been there for a few drinks not just 1 and had good service we would leave a tip but staff just seemed rude and just expected to keep your change. My opinion there are a lot of nice bars around the square that I will go to again, this was just the weak link in them and will not go back unless the waiters...

Went to order a beer. Was told that they only accept cash. Said that's all I had. The bar lady was so rude. Then this a young individual told me to get out. Do people understand that service is not what you expect but your customer. Kicked me out.

Solution would have been being polite and say they can charge more. Sign so small and at the end of the bar. When greeting especially a tourist which pays your bills.

I was so angry and will never go back and tell all that I know.

Rather educate your staff and maybe you might make money.

I did spend over £50 around the corner at the Irish pub. Great service...

Very good service as the staff was well manoured and easy going. The food came within short notice of asking and was very nice. The waiters are very friendly and polite when it comes to remembering familiar customers and greeting new ones. Felt really welcomed as if it was my local at home 👍👍. Will be coming again if and when i visit...
