My friends and I were heading here for some drinks as we’d past by it previously on a walk and decided to meet for drinks.
I had been ahead of my friends as I’d come from a different direction and I nipped into the toilet before ordering.
This bit is not a joke… I don’t know if this was the owner or a member of staff; however, a man stood in the doorway to the bathroom and started me down mid way through using the urinal. I asked if he was ok as I thought it might have been a drunk person or somebody selling something but quickly realised this wasn’t the case.
He hurled abuse at me and accused me of using the place as a public toilet and assumed (wrongly) that I’d just come in off the street to use the toilet.
I couldn’t get a word in as he continued to shout expletives at me. I tried to explain that my friends were two minutes away and that we were going to order some drinks after I used the toilet.
I told him that due to his reaction I’d no longer be ordering drinks.
I don’t know if this person had a bad day and decided I was the one to take it out on but this behaviour is unacceptable. I would recommend to avoid this establishment until this person gets an...

Maybe it’s normal in Albufeira to try and take advantage of customers and serve drinks which are of sub par standards
We were behind a large group of Scottish customers and maybe clueless to what you serve but sadly the next group you served were professionals in the FNB world 1 being a highly qualified Sommelier
We were served what was described as Tequila if it was Tequila it must have been watered down as it was barely recognisable and when questioning the bar staff we were basically laughed at
I can also see by the managements comments that they know very little about customer service and look forward to the excuses and reasons why we were served...
Read moreHas deffinatly gone down hill. Mr Bacalar has left and was probably not paid his worth. So it is not as busy, and locals have expressed there dissatisfaction with the owner. It's a shame as the staff are extremely hard working, and friendly, but lack the organisation and focus that the previous Manager (Mr Bacalar) brought to the business. A classic case of poor ownership over excellent management, and complete lack of appriciation of excellent staff, and customer expectations. In other words the owner is extremely short sighted, and a poor manager of staff, and his business.
