Restaurante Bar Bank — Restaurant in Albufeira

Was invited in to restaurant and shown our table. Male waiters was quick to get everyone sat at a table but then customers were left for long periods of time before someone came to take orders. We were there over 10mins and had drink order and starters taken, 15mins later someone else came to take the same order. Then we waited an extra 20mins for our meal. We chose the chicken breast with fries and mushroom sauce and an extra side of sauteed veg.The chicken was lovely, the veg was shameful, really thin green beans like a tablespoon worth with some onions we expected more for the price. The fries were slices soggy potatoes and the mushrooms sauce was like a kfc chicken gravy rather than an actual mushroom sauce. After our meal we decided dessert wasnt an option as probably turn up the next day. Whilst my partner was finishing his drink i decided to go to the toilet, well that in itself was an experience! The head waiter span around and sharply asked me where are you going? I said the toilet is that ok? He turned his back on me therefore i went to the toilet, it was untidy, stunk and asoon as i shut the door i pulled my pants down and heard the volume of the area really loud (and im partially deaf) to my right was a larger window either wide open or none existent and as i peed i had an audience of not only the restaurant but the entire area of albufeira! Great to say we will certainly not be returning but instead will defo go to the one over the beach that sells the same as menu states and amazing... and their toilets are secure...

We came to the old town late with a big group of 11 people. The waiters standing outside presented us the menus and we asked them if it was ok that we would sit down and have dinner at 11pm. The waiter told us it was no problem, however we all noticed the man was in a hurry. While we took a look at the menus the waiter did not leave our table. The food was fine. When the waiter brought our drinks, he came from the bar, which was in the club where nightlife had already started. The volume of the music made it impossible to have a conversation once the door to the bar opened. We didn’t even finish our food when the waiter came standing within a few meters of our table asking if we had finished. When we told him we weren’t finished he didn’t leave our table. After 3 waiters picked up all plates from the table, the waiter immediately gave us the bill. While we were finishing our drinks the waiter told us to hurry up. Additionally, when we looked at the bill, the mushroom sauce that was offered with the t-bone steak cost us €4. A very frustrating night. All in all, food was fine, but the waiter was rude and the music was loud. We were annoyed that the waiter invited us from the street and then tried to hurry us all up...

We should have read the reviews before entering. We were "lured" in by a 20% off 2 steaks offer. (Wasn't deducted on bill when arrived. Another battle!!) When we sat down it was the hot stone steaks. Not something I'd normally order but said I'd give it a go!! Came with about 11 cold frozen chips. A salad as it was described was a palm of dried leaves. No dressing. The whole thing was served on a long side plate. Not a dinner plate. We ordered a starter of chicken wings to share. 4 wings came out on a plate for €9.50 (I kid you not!!) wine and Prosecco way overpriced. Steaks tasty but pricy when I saw what was served with them. I've cooked better from a supermarket at home. Service was good. Waiters were very attentive but left hungry and that was ordering a dessert to fill up as heading out after. Would not recommend.
