This restaurant was an absolute gem! Easily a 5/5 experience. The fish was perfectly cooked—tender, flavorful, and with just the right hint of seasoning. The accompanying salad was crisp and refreshing, a great contrast to the rich fish.

We enjoyed a range of dishes: steak, prawns, tagliatelle, pork, and peri peri chicken, all of which were met with high praise. Each dish was well-prepared, full of flavor, and beautifully presented.

The service truly elevated the experience. Our waiter was exceptionally friendly, humorous, and went out of his way to ensure we had a great time. The staff overall were attentive and professional.

Usually don't give 5 stars for a restaurant especially k in the touristy area of Old Albufeira, but this is my exception. No one outside pestering you too come in for their specials of the day or over-burdening music to corrupt your senses. The ambiance is quaint and effective. The service, albeit singular waiter due to time-of-day (18:00), he say is inside away from the heart and waning sun. A shared appetizer, plus two dinner plates of Sea Bass and Fried Squid was major plus for us. A 1/2 litre of Vinho branco da Casa plus a Coke for my spouse and we walked away satiated and looking for a future visit based on some of the other plates we had seen passing by for other positions. Great food and service, Eexcellent value for money

We happened to choose os Arcos the first night in Albufeira and returned 2 times during our one week holiday. The dishes were absolutely delicious, the fish and other seafood fresh and cooked with great care and skill. We had monkfish cataplana, seabass, gold sea bream and grilled octopus and we rate them all with 5 stars. Absolute indulgement!!

The prices at os Arcos are very reasonable in any standard. The most fresh sea bass for 16,50€ is a good price to pay.

What made os Arcos a restaurant to return to was the service. The waiters took the time to talk with us and tell about the food. They just took great care of us!

We only had fish so I cannot rate the meat at os Arcos but for anyone to fancy seafood this is an absolute must...
