Arrived at approximately 8pm, ordered a couple of beers and our meal from a very friendly young waiter.......... after about thirty minutes the waiter kindly gave my wife a blanket for her shoulders. We enquired at least twice if our meal would be much longer and were told "five or ten minutes". We eventually asked for the bill and were approached by, I assume, the manageress who told us the meal would be out by the most in ten minutes to which we reluctantly agreed....... Anyway, food arrived, lamb chops, which turned out to be boney chump chops, ah well, I'm afraid we were very disappointed with this establishment. It is not our habit to expect excellence, and we dislike complaining but have to express our regret at having attended this restaurant. Food was good for the price, not mind blowing but definitely worth the money! We were a table of 10 with 7 adults and 3 kids. All meals were serviced promptly and the general consensus was positive.

Service was excellent, there are steps up to the restaurant and from what I could tell this was the only way of accessing the restaurant. We had a double pram but a member of staff helped carry it up.

I was iffy about coming here, I shouldn't have been. Its a really nice setting, eating out on a balcony overlooking a busy street. We all (3 of us) had a hankering for steak, so we picked here. I've read the old general mediocre reviews, our experience is great. Each of us had a steak (2 * sirloin, 1 * ribeye), we got a baked potato with it to remind us of home. Simply all delicious.
