Avoid at all costs, poor service and bland food

We went here because we had seen it all over social media and looked full which is always a good sign. We were seated and our order was taken at 6:30pm. Half an hour later our starters arrived (7pm) they were busy so it’s expected. We ordered a bread basket but nothing arrived so we carried on. We finished our starters and drinks and waited for our mains. At 7:30 an hour after placing our order we were still waiting, we were not asked if we wanted another drink after waiting half an hour with empty glasses and to our surprise the table next to us had 2 a course meal and at this point had received the bill before we had our main course. So as you would expect we asked how long and if we could get another drink, we were told they were coming and the staff apologised. 15 minutes later we got our drinks, that’s now an hour and 15 minutes that we had one drink. Our mains arrived and I have to say, I was literally given chicken and pasta with a small amount of sauce. For an hour and a half wait and poor service I was hoping the mains would pick the evening up.. I was wrong. We quickly asked for the bill and to our surprise the bread basket was on the bill.

We were not the only table that complained about the wait as 2 other tables were also not offered any more drinks and also waited over an hour for the main course

We were there at 5pm for some beers and a small snack (one pizza to share with the 3 of us), since we eat according to local Portuguese dinner time traditions (aka 9:30pm). The female waiter with the tattoos was noticeably frustrated by the fact that we weren’t there for dinner (it was only 5pm!!), and took our order for 3 beers with annoyance in her voice and avoiding any eye contact. When we went to order a second round of beers with a pizza as a small snack to share, she snapped at us that “that is very unusual at dinner time” (with a very noticeable irritated tone, and the time being at just 5:15pm, whole it was not busy at all), ran upstairs for some reason, and then came back asking what pizza we wanted (still avoiding any eye contact and speaking with an annoyed tone of voice). Luckily the guy who served the pizza at the table and later on did the payment served the pizza with a smile, and spoke with a friendlier tone of voice. Unfortunately, the waitress with the tattoos ruined any chance of a tip. Will definitely not eat there again if that same...

As a 20 something year old well up with the hypes of tiktok I really wanted to go to the terrace and check it out. As someone who would nearly go “for the pic” regardless, I can safely say this did not live up to the hype whatsoever. We waited 25/30 mins for a terrace table which was excellent considering the lines that followed us. The service from there was very very disappointing. Got v dry pizza and v bland tomato chicken pasta. We waited 45 mins between starter and main. Then when they cleared our plates we assumed they would offer us the dessert menu / tea and coffee but we were never offered, essentially they cleared our plates and left so we also just paid and left. Granted a really lovely setting at the top, very very very tight spaced so I’m hindsight I can’t say it was very romantic as a couple when the next table of 2 is within elbow touching distance. We were really hoping the food would live up to the queue, but we got MUCH better food with the same view along that street the night before. All in all, don’t bother trying to...
