An exquisite find in Aveiro. We were a group of 4 en route to Porto with a short stopover and were not expecting very much. But 3800 exceeded expectations. The decor is tasteful and elegant, allowing for a wonderful backdrop for the food. Every table was occupied and some tables turned over a couple of times before we left. The food was absolutely delightful. We shared the padron peppers, mushrooms and razor clams for starters. And each of us opted for the picanha (rump) with French fries and salad - all of which was perfectly done. The banhofee was delicious as was the chocolate mousse. This is something different. The dishes are very tasty and they are prepaired by somebody who takes her or his job serious. Meals are in no way too pretentious, though.
