The Alheira plate was delicious; different from the typical sausage that one would expect, with some bread and really flavorful seasonings. The chicken steak was also very good; it looked very plain on presentation but had terrific garlic and herb seasoning and was incredibly moist. We really enjoyed the meals. What made this experience above and beyond was the customer service and conversation with Ron and his sister (the other server/bartender) who took time to make us feel like special customers and welcome guests to the restaurant. Read moreThis used to be my go to place for a nice Portuguese lunch on the patio. Unfortunately (as tends to happen) they’ve “commercialized”. The plates are smaller and not as tasty with less sides. But the worst part that I can’t dismiss is the “Prato do dia” or daily special… it’s not special. They basically copy and paste from the menu what they want to highlight. Further than this, I had to go inside the bar to order the beers and stil wait for more than 30minutes to get the chance to order food.
