Churrascaria do Estoril — Restaurant in Cascais

As tourists we were in Portugal 16 days. This is the ONLY restaurant that decided to impose the dreaded "restaurant tax". We ordered 2 imperials (small beer), they brought 2 midsize at a much higher price. Plus, they put additional items on our table that we did NOT order. The servers were smooth and friendly but definitely not honest. Stay away or be very diligent if they put items on your table that you didn't order. Worst food and service I’ve ever had. A “filet mignon” that was more like stewing steak in texture and looked like it had been boiled rather than grilled. Sent it back as I had ordered rare and got medium-well done. Took 20 minutes to be replaced and the waiting staff never approached us once to see if were ok. Mediocre... um mero bitoque em que o bife é uma sola seca de sapato, o ovo veio cru, escapou as batatas...num restaurante que tem por nome churrascaria, é fraquinho. O local merece mais, já tive outras experiências ao longo dos anos no mesmo local, mas não tem jeito de servirem algo com brio.

...um ano depois! Ora dizem que todos merecem uma segunda, ou será terceira chance... voltei ao local um ano depois, será a teimosia ou a falta de opção, mas melhorou na comida, e a brasileira é simpática. Mas é isto, umas vezes acerta-se e outras erram, se nem Jesus Cristo agradou a todos...

Em relação à resposta de forma idiossincrática do restaurante à minha primeira crítica construtiva, fica a dica, o ataque não será a melhor defesa. E eu não reclamo no momento em nenhum restaurante, pois não desejo que o prato volte batizado 😉.
