This place used to be quite good. I would have the "vegano" sandwich, which is very tasty - when prepared as described. On my most recent visit, I was told there was no tofu and asked if I would prefer cheese (not vegan cheese, just regular). I declined when I should have just left. When my sandwich arrived, it was also missing the olive tapenade, the arugula was changed to mixed greens and there was a scant amount of the remaining ingredients (tomato and peppers). When I asked about the tapenade, I received whole olives (pit included) in its place. To make the visit even more disappointing, we were charged twice for the meal. Everyone probably has their own criteria for what makes a good pasteis de nata, but I personally didn’t think these were that good The filling was too thick and mushy instead of a custard, it sort of seemed liked they mixed too much flour into the filling The crust was crispy, but oozed oil and butter and tasted greasy

We had a Chill Shakerato, a Double Espresso, and two Natas - and everything was absolutely delicious! The quality of the food and drinks was genuinely impressive. The café is located near the harbour of Cascais, which makes it a convenient stop, but it’s also right next to a busy street, so it can be quite loud.
