Date & Time of Visit: 18 May 19:00
We want to say a big thank you to Mr Tuhel and his service team and the chef team who made our day with greatly warm service and delicious meals.
That was our last night in Lisbon. After visiting Cabo Da Roca, we took bus to this lovely town - Cascais, planning to have dinner at a seafood buffet restaurant. Unfortunately, we haven’t reserved a table in advance and were rejected by them. Due to our unfamiliar experience with the reservation culture, we were rejected by several restaurants. Being hungry and cold, we tried to ask the staff of Aqafarina. Luckily, we were warmly welcomed by Mr Tuhel.
We ordered Ragù Bianco, Linguine ai fruitti di mare and Insalata Mista. Both fresh pasta were extremely tasty. The linguine was nicely chewy, and I love the beef and sauce. The seafood was really fresh served in generous portion.
When the salad came, we were surprised at the portion - such a giant plate! And Mr Tuhel soon noticed that and he pulled another table and combined it with our current one to make it more convenient for us.
Later on, the chef came to us and asked for feedback on the food. He also introduced and provided another freshly made sauce for us.
The final dish was the most famous and traditional Italian dessert - Tiramisù, which was offered for us for free by Mr Tuhel. We were so surprised and impressed by his great service!
We are not sure if we will come back to Lisbon in the future, but one thing I am sure is that we will definitely visit this lovely restaurant again if we’d come back. Thank you Mr Tuhel and team for making our trip...
Read moreHola ! Yesterday, 18/5/24. It was my girlfriend and I VERY LAST night travelling & staying in Lisbon, and we are going back to Singapore. 😊
Thru google review, we found xxx. Like what the comments said, staffs are helpful & friendly. Ya ! It is ! Didn’t exaggerated, it is really a 5 stars service experience. And we experienced it ! Staff who served us, is the guy called, Tuhel. He is good. Firstly, from ordering till finishing dishes, his smile never disappeared. And then, one very touching point was, initially we were just sitting at a 2pax table and we ordered 2 spaghetti & 1 salad. The salad 🥗 plate was a big plate ! Cool ! But we didn’t know was a big plate. When our dishes slowly delivering, table space was really limited. And we tried our best to just accommodate and have it. Then ! Tuhel came immediately and to move another table to us. We realised that he actively following up to customers condition while he was doing his job at counter. His passion in servicing customers is just too good. And at the end of the dinner session, we also received his tiramisu dessert treat. He knew how to keep up the relationship with customers. A great sales person also. Cool ! Of course, other than Tuhel, other staffs were also very friendly.
Last but not the least, foods are extremely good also ! Must go try.
And definitely next time, when we travel again to this great city. We will come back again to this restaurant. Tuhel ! Hope you don’t...
Read moreI don't know where to start, this place was amazing. If you're looking for an incredible dining experience in Cascais, Aqafarina is the place to go. A beautiful restaurant with a home-style vibe. They specialize in hand made pasta with fresh ingredients imported from Italy.
I think it really attests to the passion of the owner when even the waiters have high praise for the food and go above and beyond to provide an excellent service. They were all very knowledgeable of the menu and made some excellent recommendations.
Go-to's include: Salsiccia montanara, my favorite dish! Perfectly balanced bites of fresh pasta and ground up sausage. I swear I could eat this for every meal until I die.
Linguine ai frutti di mare, my second favorite. Fresh seafood drizzled with a mix of herbs(I wish I could tell you which but I'm no chef :'( ), olive oil and sundried tomatoes. Wiped the plate clean.
Charcutterie board: This. This was the highlight of the meal. We were a large group of 8 and the board was perfect for sharing. The meat was prepared from his family's farm in Florence! Endless mix and match combinations to eat with their fluffy focaccia.
They have a cute dog that eats pasta. Boy's a lil chonky but I'd be just as big if my owner was cooking me fresh pasta every day.
Anyways this was great, 10/10 recommend. Save your sardines for another day (which you should also try at...
