Tasca da Linha — Restaurant in Cascais

We came here because of the reviews, but let me tell you I have never been more disappointed with a restaurant in my life. For starters we ordered the burrata, but when we tried it, it was a ball of Philadelphia cream cheese. The shrimps did not taste like anything, extremely bland and not worth the price. As for starters, we got the beef sandwich which was not good and the octopus which was floating in a soup of oil, it was chewy and bland, extremely dissatisfied. As for sides we got rice, it was the bland, undercooked and not worth the 5€ we paid. Overall we would not only ever go back to this place but I would never recommend this...

Not sure how this can be averaging 4.5 stars at the time we ate there today. We had the sea food pan for two, some of the stuff was dry and over cooked while some pieces of fish were half raw. Before that started with gazpacho which was a sort of pico de Gallo in tomato juice, chunks of veggies instead of regular soup with blended stuff. Fresh and ok but just strange the way it comes. Nice friendly service even if we ended up spotting stuff on the bill that we didn’t order or ate. I guess this can happen but didn’t help the...

Miserable, terrible owner. We weren’t even eating at this restaurant but rather at the restaurant beside it- Sacas. The owner of Tasca da linha came outside and starting closing the top cover, which was filled with rainwater and it sprayed all over our table and drinks. The owner just laughed and said it’s ok, nearly finished go home. No sorry or anything. Don’t even come try this restaurant, the owner is terrible I wouldn’t want to imagine the food. Go to Sacas beside it, just make sure to not allow him to...
