K Bueno SteakHouse — Restaurant in Cascais

Although restaurant dinning area was not full and with few tables empty, staff refused to give us table inside. Instead they give us a table on terace table, which was ok but we had a preferences to be seated inside. Whole evening all tables inside were not occupied so I did not understood the reason why we could not get requested table. Never the less service started normally as we expected until the waitress left in the middle of ordering drinks. Put that on side she was very nice and helpfull all the time while she was serving us. Approx at the end of dinner, our waiter has changed. We have been asked about desserts but once when we order they come back just to tell us that is too late for desserts cauae kitchen is closing. So why did you ask us about sweets if you knew that you will be unable to deliver? As an apologise they offer brownie with ice cream cause they could do that for some reason. But, again they came back and aplogise that chef already left and that cannot do anything. We order just a coffe and they brought us a receipt even we did not ask yet for it and were thinking to order one more short drink. But when they came with receipt we decide to pay and leave... no one say regards to us while we were living and you could feel that they were just waiting us to pay and leave. Food was quite fair and tasty but whole experiance was well below expected taking in account the area and restaurant reviews... all above mentioned ruin us also food experiance,...

We were a party of 6 for an 8:30 dinner. The service was awful and the food was definitely mediocre. We live locally and will never return nor will we recommend this restaurant to anyone. We ordered our dinner and drinks and starters which were served fairly promptly however after that, we waited 45 minutes for food that was extremely mediocre and definitely NOT worth waiting 45 minutes to arrive. The picanha was not like any traditional picanha we have eaten and the entrecôte steak was not as good as something I could have grilled myself. The tuna tataki was placed on the plate with nothing and again it was raw fish so it should have taken a very short time to prepare! When brought to the attention of the server and manager they acknowledged the wait but were unapologetic and quite frankly rude about it. I was told “this isn’t McDonalds” …it was barely better than McDonalds was how we felt. What a disappointment for a place with a lovely outdoor setting and view of the marina. A total waste of money and we were not compensated at all for the wait. No one checked on us even though we could see that every person around us had been served even those who arrived long after we did. We were entertaining out of town guests and this was completely...

Unfortunately, our evening at Kbueno was far from what we expected. We asked for a table for four, but were told the restaurant was fully booked and could only be seated on the terrace. However, throughout the entire evening, we could clearly see that many tables inside remained empty — no one ever came, which made it clear that we had not been told the truth.

The food was acceptable but had several flaws. The tuna tartare was overpowered by avocado, and the burrata carpaccio completely lacked character or flavor.

At first, our waitress was extremely kind and attentive, but she disappeared halfway through the evening and was replaced by staff who were quite unfriendly and dismissive. When asked about dessert, we were told the kitchen was closed — even though they had just offered it moments before.

After spending €400 for four people, this kind of treatment is simply unacceptable. To make things worse, the staff turned off the music and made it obvious that they wanted us to leave, even though we still had drinks that were never properly served.
