Read moreThis is a little diamond in the rough, we did not expect to find this lovely and very secluded Indian restaurant as the main cuisine but, also offering Italian food as an alternative, "Lucky" the owner ( short for Luckvit) is fantastic host and made us feel very welcome. The chicken Biryani I had was absolutely tasty I could choose my heat as in chilli heat, I went for medium and it was brilliant, Anna had Chicken and Mushrooms in a garlic and ginger sauce again very tasty. I had a garlic Naan with condiments again very tasty, overall presentation brilliant!! Good table service. This place has an upstairs part to it, where it can cater for much larger groups with ample space clean and a bar service also available. We give this restaurant 5 stars as it ticks all the boxes. Oh and we noticed they do a takeaway service but in the Coimbra area only!! Bon appetit to those who venture in this...

The mango chicken sauce was nice, however, the chicken in it was very chewy and completely different to the one in the butter chicken. A bowl of rice comes with the main dishes which was well cooked. I had the sweet naan (similar to a pishwari naan) which was nice and my partner had the garlic naan which she didn't like. We both had chips which I enjoyed but my partner found to be quite salty. Overall not the best Indian I have ever had, but still a good meal and not...
