Our birthday dinner at this restaurant ended in complete disappointment. Just before midnight, the staff informed us we had to pay and leave because one of our guests wasn’t 18 yet—even though she’s turning 18 later this year. We were sitting in the restaurant area, not the club, and only asked to stay a few minutes past midnight to sing “Happy Birthday” and cut the cake. But they refused, showing no flexibility or understanding.

On top of that, they forgot to include the entrance dishes on the bill, so we had to wait while they corrected it—precious time wasted during an already tense moment. In the end, we were forced to leave without even singing or cutting the cake, and had to do it outside on the street, which was awkward and upsetting for everyone, especially the birthday girl.

The food itself was good, but the experience left a bad taste. It would be great if the restaurant implemented a more thoughtful policy—like allowing underage guests to stay just 10–15 minutes past midnight for birthday celebrations. A little consideration would have made all...

We had a birthday dinner that was completely ruined by the restaurant staff. One of our guests wasn’t 18 yet (though she will be later this year), and as it got close to midnight, we were asked to pay and leave because she couldn’t stay past 24:00.

All we wanted was to sing “Happy Birthday” to the birthday girl and then leave right after midnight. We were in the RESTAURANT area, not the CLUB , but the staff showed no flexibility or empathy. They insisted we leave immediately, which completely destroyed our plans for what was supposed to be a special evening.

The food was good, but due to the atmosphere and the lack of understanding from the staff, I won’t be returning.

Honestly, I think the restaurant should consider having a more thoughtful policy—maybe allowing underage guests to stay just 10–15 minutes past midnight in cases like birthday dinners. A bit of understanding could make a...

Absolutely awful experience. We spent €80 on food that was barely edible, everything was either bland or insanely salty, to the point where it felt like we were being punished for ordering. Not a single dish was enjoyable.

To make matters worse, the place was completely empty, yet the staff still found a reason to ruin the evening. We quietly sat down to play a card game, nothing loud, nothing disruptive, just a simple game between friends, and were told it wasn’t allowed. No explanation, no logic, just a flat-out “no.” Since when are bars not places for socializing and games, especially when there’s no one else around?

This place lacks basic hospitality, decent food, and any sense of atmosphere. Save your money and your time, there are plenty of better spots where you’ll actually be treated like a customer instead of an...

A nice pub in a nice area but does not seem popular with locals. The place next door was packed but they have many outdoor tables. Lots of different beers .. excellent as a beer pub. Nice decor inside and a few outdoor tables, not nearly enough for groups. My wife had an omelette for dinner..very good. I tried the Franchesina for the first time ever. Did not love it! It has a very chewy/tough sausage in it that I would never get again. The service was efficient and friendly. No Irish/British food at all. No real complaint re the food but I think it's better for beer and snacks than dinner.

Our Airbnb was right next to this pub and we decided to go check it out. We were definitely not disappointed! We were amazed with how big the place is (it has at least four floors). The selection of beers on tap is limited, but the labels they offer are really special. The food was good and it seems that there is live music every day. It’s certainly worth a visit if you are in town.

Although I came during the time that the kitchen was closed, I was impressed with the variety of beers and ability to still eat some peanuts. This pub is also large, apparently has live music every night except Monday, has plenty of TVs, and ample outdoor seating. This is the perfect spot to just grab a beer....or I suppose party at night!
