This place definitely blows my mind! I have been in town for a while and pretty much tried all the highly-rated restaurants. This small gem is NOT on my list but turns out to be extraordinary among others! We have tried grilled rabbit and chicken. They are all juicy and succulent! The homemade piri-piri source really brings the flavor. Side dishes is fried potato by default. No more words to describe it. Simply very well done. I was also overjoyed by their homemade dessert. We tried coconut mousse, mango mousse, and a boiled-like cinnamon apple. They all look fairly simple but with rich and natural flavor coming from fruits themselves. Crazy chicken serves crazy delicious food!!!! By the way, it was 22.8 Euro in total…including a jar of house wine…I am speechless….

Local place. Cash only. But since it doesn’t break the bank, you won’t even notice. We had two full meals, two bottles of beer, and a sparkling water for 22 Euro. The chicken skewers were good but not outstanding, the potatoes with it were delish. My husbands fried sardines and sides were delicious. The waitress spoke good English and was very kind. We went right at noon as we were in the area. Many other locals eating other traditional dishes. Great food at a great value . Super spicy piri piri, which my husband LOVED.

This is a typical local Portuguese restaurant, don’t expect anything fancy! Just good food, as a starter I had sardines paste and bread, the bread was delicious, fresh and was pairing perfectly with the sardines paste. The main dish had beef grilled to perfection and homemade chips for a 10er, dessert also delicious and fresh, I think was called egg pudding and was delicious! This is more authentic and not for typical tourists looking for burger and chips, service is discrete and welcoming. I would be back for sure

Sorry to say we went to Crazy Chicken and they had no chicken. Crazy, right? So we had to try to communicate with our waitress what we could get instead. We thought we were both getting the same thing, but one of us had pork slices with an egg on top and the other more like fried pork pieces. Lots of food, and the house hot sauce made it's way from table to table, but when the owner came out with chicken and sat down to eat, I felt a little cheated. This seems to be a local hang out for the older women of Faro. At least six and counting began congregating at the table next to ours, and the owners seemed to know them. So if you want an authentic experience with okay food and cheap price this is all right. I just hope they...

The waitress was kind, and she tried hard to help us, but there was a language barrier we couldn't overcome. The owners seemed disinterested. We went there because of the online photos of sardines, but they were out of sardines. They had a lot of rabbit and chicken, which received great reviews, but we were not interested in either.

Once we realized there was no fish, we asked for the bill. We had 2 waters with gas, bread & butter, and a delicious olive & carrot topping for our bread, with a carafe of wine for $9 Euros. If you love rabbit and chicken, and you speak Portuguese or Spanish,...
