I visited this café because I had a few hours to kill in the area and its rating was good. But to my surprise the selection of pastries in early afternoon was extremely limited, no croissants or pastel de nata even though cafe was open until 8pm. But my review is not about the lack of pastries. Towards the end of my visit, suddenly I heard a woman speaking very loudly to her friend using extremely offensive language and swearing. She was talking about Ukrainian people assuming nobody else understood them as they spoke in Russian. That was disgusting and appalling! The woman said she was from Moldova, she might be the owner of the café, actually. She looked caught off guard when I switched to Russian and asked her to repeat her thoughts about Ukraine to me as well. One can have an opinion, but the way we express it matters!
