Baixacaffé — Restaurant in Faro

The worst service in all my years and I am 61. People come here hoping for a nice time, the seem to mostly get a coffee and a drink, so we decided to order drinks, one apple juice and one orange juice. I explained I wanted normal apple juice and out come the target Granny Smith apple green juice. I told them regular which I find out is called nectre. The I order an omelet to share and they told us we must order two and cannot share, even though there were many tables. My Wife and I were amazed, so paid for our drink, yes all three as they said if it's served you must pay. No understanding and not even an apology for our wasting time here. The atmosphere is ok but more than a cafe it felt like a pastry to me. Inside almost all the tables are empty but I am not even allowed to charge my laptop or use it. When entering I asked about whether they have outlets for laptop she seemed very confused and said no not anymore but everywhere had outlets so I thought she did not understand what I said (seemed didn’t know English well). So, I said to myself well they have outlets and ordered coffee. But, the waitress told me I cannot use my laptops. When I asked her why she said because “NO.” That is what I call attitude! Seemed like a nice place, but when we wanted to order some lunch, many of the options were not available (like orange juice, mixed juices with mango/strawberry) and the waitress became very unfriendly when we were surprised about it. For my 1 year old I wanted to order a sandwich with soft crusts, also not available that day, the option to eat rice with the omelet, also not available.. all fine, but maybe easy to tell those thing when they give the menus. Above all I would have expected the waitress to be more friendly about it. Hot chocolate and fresh apple juice were very yummy and the food as well.
