Cervejaria Granada — Restaurant in Guimarães

SCAM. Beware if you speak only english. Everything was good, until the bill came. The food was very tasty, staff friendly. When we arrived they automatically came with bread and codfish cakes, did not ask if we want them or not. I ate 1 codfish and was charged 1,6€(you cannot see the price anywhere, based on different review a month ago, they paid 0,8€ for codfish, so what is the price for 1?). Then the waiter recommended us wine, he then told he will give us a small bottle, but then came and right away opened a big bottle(we still told ourselves Ok, because the waiter was nice so we left it). But the biggest scam was that we paid 12,5€ for a dish that was supposed to be 9,5€. We asked about it and they pointed to the only dish they have there for 12,5€, but when looking on Google it was completely different dish than we ordered which was really supposed to be 9,5€. The thing that dissapointed us the most was that they really thought they can overcharge us without any hesitation. If they said sorry and gave us the right price, we would leave much happier and maybe give them a tip, but now we just went away...

Scam!!! They charge you more than what you had. The staff is friendly, the food is tasty and reasonably priced. BUT the food on the receipt was more expensive than what was in the menu. When confronted, the server said he didn’t speak english well. I persisted and pointed to the receipt and to the food in the menu, the server told us we ordered different meal (there were no images and it was in portuguese). Upon verifiying with google images we found out he scammed us.

The worst dining experience we have had in some time. The waiter thought he was funny, kept cracking bad jokes. But more importantly, my dad's fish was served really quickly, but was cold, with soggy chips.
