The restaurant's ambiance is wonderfully relaxing, and the music selection is perfectly chosen, creating a delightful backdrop without being intrusive. Every dish, from the starters to the main courses and dessert, was consistently excellent and perfectly prepared. The entire meal experience was outstanding and Patricia was incredibly hospitable, taking time to explain each dish, recommend perfect wine pairings, and checked for feedback for every dish.

The owner himself checked in with us personally throughout the evening. Post meal, chef came by for a chat and offered to create a special dish for us based on our taste preferences if we returned another day. Sadly it was our last night in town but would love to take up this offer some day.

Randomly found this restaurant during my stroll in Guimaraes old town and I must say this is truly a hidden gem. Located not in the main square, so you can enjoy your meal in peace.

I did order the polvo e romesco (octopus in romesco sauce) and it was THE BEST octopus dish I've had in my life 🥇 10/10. Very generous portion of octopus (as you can see in the pic) and VERY tender - and oh the romesco sauce (pepper, tomato and almond), which is very complementing the dish, also very generous.

This restaurant indeed deserves much more crowd than it is! The server lady was also very friendly and kind!
