King Palace — Restaurant in Lagoa

I initially met the gentleman at the door and asked him about the restaurants vegan options. We were are a party of four with one person who is vegan. The guy outside the restaurant informed me of all of the options they had that are vegan and other options that could be made vegan. I told him, I may come back and I am just seeing what is available, he handed me a menu and again outlined the options available. We came back later ordered for takeaway. We were welcomed in and told it would possibly be about 20 minutes. Not a problem at all. While we were waiting. Multiple times we were asked did we want a drink or did we need anything. We did in the end grab a drink while we waited. Our food came shortly afterwards and we took it home to our accommodation. It was delicious, warm and flavorful. Went to this restaurant last night and can't believe the quality of the food they produced...I ordered chicken curry and there was no trace of any curry flavour at all .was more like tomato gravy with a lemon flavour .I could not even eat it and sent it back...my son ordered the same and he didn't like it also...my daughter ordered a coconut curry equal to a corma and it didn't taste much different to ours and she complained of it tasting like chemicals...Needless to say thoughally disappointed...I never payed for my curry .and will not...

I used to love this restaurant 5 years ago, but it seems to have changed ownership, and unfortunately, the quality has gone downhill. My chicken curry tasted overwhelmingly of tomato and lemon, nothing like a proper curry. My mum, who ordered the same dish, refused to eat or pay for hers, while I forced down the chicken but didn’t enjoy it.
