DO NOT RECOMMEND GOING. Deceptive business practice that the restaurant does not accept card and does not clearly label or mention that fact to customers. Staff did not inform us of this and there is only a very small notice that they do not accept card on the door. We did not walk past this door as we were seated outside along with everyone else; no one was inside. One would assume a restaurant of this caliber and in a tourist destination would take card similar to all the restaurants and stores near it. The food was also average and not worth going out of your way.

EDIT BASED ON OWNERS RESPONSE: The lack of professionalism from this establishment in this comment and others is appalling. This is a perfect example to show the type of inconsiderate service you can expect. Whether you agree with my comment or not, the better response would have been to acknowledge customer frustration and leave it at that.

For any future readers or future potential customers, please be aware that this restaurant is too cheap to afford the 3% payment processing fee. Hope you have a good...

We had one of the weirdest and most uncomfortable experience in the restaurant. Saw it and seen the 5 stars so we decided to try.

We get there firstly 10€ for bruschetta (3 little piece of bread).

But that is the first past, secondly we ordered the pizza which was a Diavola. And god sake they have been putting black olives bits everywhere and soooo much that we couldn’t taste anything else than the olives.

So we say that sorry but we can’t eat this and they try to justify the fact that it says on the diavola recipee it says Olives as well but the chef comes out and says he’s never had any complaints and that this is normal like literally I believe everyone would think the same thing.

Update: the other person that was with me at the restaurant left a review just as we left and the owner comes out and insult us and say well whatever it’s fine I will pay to remove the review like please guys don’t give him your money there’s some nicer places out there..

Bless the waitresses though they were...

I had high expectations for this place, especially given the price tag (19€ per pizza!) and the mouth-watering photos on their profile, but I was left incredibly disappointed. This was, hands down, the worst pizza I’ve ever had in Lagos.

To start, the toppings were a disaster. The meatballs were so tiny they were almost invisible—barely pearl-sized! And what little meat there was didn’t even taste like meat; instead, it was a strange mix of overpowering spices that overwhelmed everything else. The toppings weren’t just poorly done; they were actually burnt, which made each bite a struggle. This was nothing like what was advertised in their photos.

For a place that charges such high prices, I expected quality ingredients and attention to detail, but this was amateurish at best. If you're looking for good pizza in Lagos, I’d recommend saving your money and...

Hands down the best pizza I've ever had (and I've had many)! You can taste the quality of ingredients and the know-how of the chef. Authentic Italian menu with classic options and interesting out of the box choices. Generous portions especially for the dessert (Thank you!). The service is fantastic: Warm, welcoming and professional. We also appreciated the elegant, stylish and clean decoration. Last but not least the location is excellent right opposite Batata Beach with a pleasant courtyard terrace with views over the ocean. Can't recommend enough!

This restaurant was on my list to visit in Lagos and I am so happy we had finally made it! My expectations were high based on past reviews and we could not have had a better experience. We were only in Lagos for a few days but we had made two trips to Pomodor because we just loved it so much. The first visit we had split the Diavola (pictured), which was delicious and devoured in less than 10 minutes. The second time we each had a pizza - Diavola and the Capricciosa. Both were delicious! Don’t miss this spot when you’re in town!
