It’s one of the ‘tunnel’ beaches so you can walk between 4 beaches through tunnels carved in the rock. Each beach felt quite different - one for ‘lads’ one for Portuguese. The steps from the lower cafe are fine but the upper boardwalk and view point is shut to come down. Theres a lot of weed at the moment (early July) so not as good as other beaches

This beach was nearest to where I was staying. Almost had the beach to myself. Then again it is the end of the season. Surprised to see the public toilets closed on the 2/11/2024 as all Saints day was the day before. Probably not opened then as it was a rainy day. This beach would be my third favourite in Lagos.

A pochi metri dal centro storico di Lagos, l'accogliente Praia da Batata è l'ideale per chi non ama sentirsi isolato. Con un'eccellente infrastruttura di supporto e circondata da varie strutture per il tempo libero, tra cui il Clube de Vela de Lagos. Le affascinanti formazioni rocciose che la decorano danno accesso, tra grotte, alle spiagge di Estudantes e Pinhão, piccole conchiglie di sabbia tra scogliere colorate e acque trasparenti e calme. Fra tutte le spiagge di Lagos per noi è stata la più gradita durante il nostro soggiorno di 7 giorni. Da tenere presente che la mattina fino alle 12 circa la spiaggia non è affollata, non è battuta dal vento ed il sole illumina dal mare ed è incantevole starci. Il pomeriggio è affollata ed è battuta dal vento che a volte è fastidioso.

Praia da Batata is a beautiful beach with clear water, lots of space, and a very relaxed atmosphere. Everything was clean and well maintained, making it perfect for a calm and enjoyable beach day.

The only downside is that parking is very limited, so finding a spot can be tricky. But once you have one, everything else is just right for a great...
