Meu Limão is a great spot in Lagos for tapas and drinks. The service was good and straightforward, everything came out in good time and the staff were helpful with recommendations. Nothing over the top, just friendly and efficient, which is exactly what you want when you’re out for a relaxed evening.
The food was the real highlight. We ordered several tapas to share and every dish was excellent. The patatas bravas were crispy on the outside with a spicy, flavorful sauce. The mussels were fresh and perfectly cooked, served in a broth that was so tasty we used bread to soak it up. The prawns were big, juicy, and full of flavor, easily one of the best dishes of the night. The meatballs were also really good, tender and served in a rich tomato sauce that felt hearty and satisfying.
The drinks menu is another strong point. They have a nice selection of wines, including local options, and the cocktails were balanced and refreshing. Everything paired nicely with the tapas and made the meal feel complete.
The atmosphere is lively, with a setup that works well for groups or a casual night out. Definitely a place...
Read moreI wish I had the same experience as so many others here. I wanted to like this little place.
The service was pleasant, and the woman was very kind. The location is nice too as it's at the far end of the road and not too busy with pedestrians.
Unfortunately, the food just was not good. Mussels piri piri were all right but pretty basic. The little sandwiches were very wet and messy to eat without much flavour other than mayonnaise. The Peruvian ceviche tasted really wrong. The fish was odd and off-putting in taste and we couldn't tell if the fish was spoiled or it's just that species of fish we don't like. But the lady was so nice, we couldn't bring ourselves to complain, especially as we weren't sure if it was just the type of fish. Portion sizes were small for the price. I left very hungry, partly because we couldn't eat the ceviche and partly because we couldn't see spending so much more money.
I really hope we just came here on a bad day because other people seem to have much different and better experiences...
Read moreI can recommend this restaurant who loves the special tastes! The foods are not average at all , they are gourmet. I tried something with white fish, rice white poppy seeds, lime, peanut, chili and some other specials ingredients. The fish was fresh and crumbly, plus point there were not any thread in the meat. This was really tasty! I highly recommend the tuna steak, while it was cooked outside, the inside was raw and still can work it together with some avocado and garlic souce. It is really good for someone who likes fresh tastes because it includes lemon, coriander, garlic powder, chili. Ratatuile is a nice choose, the cottage is very dominant, I only recommend it to those who really like special cottages. I used potato with souce as a garnish, it was hot so if you cannot handle the chili order rice or salad instead of it. But it is really nice with pepper (order garlic mayo as a plus for it, much better taste together)
The service were nice and helpful , they recommend the white fish food. Thanks...
