We just returned from our first visit but not our last visit to Balança.We so enjoyed our supper that we felt compelled to share our experience right away.Truly one of our nicest dining experiences ever in Lisbon,and we have been fortunate enough to have been eating here for fifteen years.We passed by this restaurant by accident this afternoon and we could here the {racket} from outside.That’s always a good sign,so we decided to return for supper,best decision...

👎 🪲 I don't think is the cleanest place on Earth as there was a cockroach on the ground 🥲😅

👍 👨‍🍳 FOOD ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Nothing different form what you'd expect from a small Portuguese restaurant. Good portions, a lot of fries 😉 and tap beer. ❗ ALWAYS remember bread, olives, butter, cold cuts are extras and you have to pay for them.

A must try restaurant!

We had their lunch special - grilled sardines, potatoes and salad. Paired with a light beer. It tasted like a typical simple Portuguese dish, we would highly highly recommend.

Thankfully we were there early as it get packs quickly. Everyone spoke only Portuguese but very welcoming. **it is cash only, so ensure to have on you!
