Stunning reinvention. The old bica do sapato closed around the pandemic. This reopening has hit the mark. Gorgeous ocean location. Beautiful decor. Attentive service. Exceptional food. Well done. The food is the highlight - a surprise to find Michelin star quality dishes served in non pretentious manner. Everything was very good. I mean everything. The croquettes with prosciutto and the chocolate praline cake dessert might have been our favorites - but reality is all items were really fantastic. It was a difficult task to match the old legendary place… living up to all the expectations. You have succeeded. A job well done - excellent and...

Set within a vast, renovated warehouse on the banks of the River Tagus, the restaurant was originally founded and co-owned by acclaimed actor John Malkovich. Once one of Lisbon’s most iconic dining destinations of the early 2000s, this celebrated institution has now reopened after a six-year hiatus. The reimagined venue charmingly preserves its Euro-vogue aesthetic, blending lofty, minimalist design with a contemporary edge. The ground-floor restaurant showcases delicious modern Portuguese cuisine and the mezzanine hosts a more relaxed space: a modern tasca serving inventive takes on traditional Portuguese snacks...

This new version of Bica do Sapato is softly opening, adjusting their finne dinning concept to please their guests. The place is beautiful, elegant, with a modern terracota decoration. The huge windows and the terrace allows customers to enjoy the beautiful river view. The staff is very friendly and always available to help us. The food is delicious, carefully and elegantly served. From the starters, until dessert, everything was perfect and full of flavor! Well seasoned, with rich and smooth textures. Although not cheap (we were a group of four and payed ~49€, without wine), I totally...
