We came all the way from Spain to taste Indian food as we always do when we travel to different places and I had very high expectations due to the reviews but I didn't double check and see the bad ones too. Such a waste of money! 117€ and more down the drain with such bad food, the naan was literally burnt with the papadum too, I could taste the weird salt type of condiment that was added. Then, I wanted a mango lassi too and it was made with powder and a weird syrup! I could taste and see it clearly, even the pani puri was bad.. the shells were too hard to bite into, and just the imli and the pani was in general; bad. The proportions are also a bit too small.
We always ask for the combo entree when we go to Indian restaurants and they never get it wrong but this was the only restaurant where they did get it wrong. Btw, the shrimps were the smallest things ever and only 2 pieces, I don't find that normal at ALL. The shish kebab or whatever that was, was so hard and chewy.. all the meat had a weird smell, it seemed like just unfrozen meat being cooked. The butter chicken was good, the jalfreizi was okay, paneer tikka too. And the lamb curry had a weird leftover taste to it, please keep these in mind.
customer service is good I could say but the atmosphere was so empty, I should've kept in mind why and not went there !!! But oh well.. also the lady should learn to not come to the table every 2 seconds to ask if anything is missing or whatever. If we need anything we would tell you, I personally like my space when I'm eating.
Overall, I can't rate 0 so I'm rating 1. ❗️Not...
Read moreWe had a great experience and Loved this restaurant in Lisbon! We ordered the lamb Tika Massala and a few appetizers, and we were blown away by the delicious flavours and aromas. The food was impressive, with just the right balance of spice and creaminess. What really stood out to us, was the excellent service and friendly staff. They were attentive and accommodating throughout our meal, making sure we had everything we needed to enjoy our food to the fullest. The restaurant itself is also very clean and well-maintained, with a cozy atmosphere that's perfect for a night out with friends or a simple dinner. The price point is excellent and very budget friendly. Overall, I would highly recommend this Indian restaurant to anyone looking for some of the best Indian cuisine in Lisbon. It's definitely one of the tastiest places we've had the pleasure of trying, and we can't wait to come back and try...
Read moreSuch a nice Indian restaurant tucked back in the neighborhood only a few blocks from the Sheraton Lisboa. I’m so glad we stayed close to the hotel due to the weather. I have no complaints about the taste of the food, presentation of the food, or staff attentiveness. My only complaint is the portion sizes were a little smaller than I am used to when eating Indian cuisine. We ordered the butter chicken, chicken tikka masala, and lamb madras as entrees for two. We also ordered two portions of rice and garlic naan. Each entree had 6 small to moderate pieces of meat with plenty of sauce. The garlic naan was three wedges. The rice was maybe 1 cup in each dish. EVERYTHING was well seasoned and very good. I would eat there again if I...
