Just a great place for unique Pizza, pasta and some OUTSTANDING deserts. We had a Cheesy pizza with Presunto added. Super fresh tomato base, plenty of cheese and great thin, crispy crust. Our son had the Tagliatelle. Oh MAN! The pork reminded us of back home (think pulled pork from the U.S.). Really, REALLY good! Then there was desert… We ordered the Panna Cotta de Maracuja and the Tarte de Mousse de Chocolate. Disclosure: I do NOT like Maracuja (Passion Fruit). HOWEVER…the way it was used with the Panna Cotta was ABSOLUTE PERFECTION! Perfectly fresh and perfectly light! The Mousse was an exercise in amazingly rich decadence! If you’re concerned, the Raspberries and DELICIOUS Hazelnut base should alleviate your guilt! Atmosphere was quiet (Jarreau, Alpert, Michael McDonald, etc. provide nice ambience). The service was above and beyond. Our waitress wasn’t an English speaker but was very kind and we all worked it out with Google of course. Order was taken and delivered perfectly. The Second Gentleman who helped us with desert (I wish I would have asked his name) was amazing. He explained each desert to perfection and as we struck up conversation, we found out he was a tour guide pre-Covid. He gave us solid recommendations on what to do from Lisbon to Cascais to Sintra to Nazare! What a WEALTH of exuberant knowledge. He clearly LOVES his country and LOVES sharing this with others! He also CLEARLY loves the food being served at Stella and is a true ambassador for the brand! BRAVO all around. You owe it to yourself to pay them a visit.

STELLAR! Loved every second in Stella Saldanha. Was warmly welcomed on a tiresome, busy friday and was greeted with a pleaseant and kind staff and great food for a modest price. Stella Saldanha is yet another italian styled restaurant with a modest menu range but the few dishes they carry do pack a punch! Stella Saldanha is ligthly decorated and opts for a big open window and a nice ground floor terrace to brighten their beautiful restaurant. The food was brought to me within 5 to 10 minutes of ordering (although it took them some time to come to me for ordering) and while the focaccia d' aglio was underwhelming even with the sauces they packed in, the Maiella pizza was a delicious surprise (without mozarella cheese!) with burrata and delicious, lightly spicy pepperoni and basil leaves. The pizza was intensely flavourful and i just couldn't help but take bite after bite untill there was nothing left. To finish, the tiramisu is fresh, creamy and delicious and among one of the best i've ever had and worth the 6€. Stella Saldanha is a gem of a restaurant, with modest pricing for the service served, with a great, pleaseant staff, and to top it all the food is lovingly and expertly crafted and for that they desert a solid 5 star. Lorrane is an absolute unit!!!!! 🫶🏻❤️

Came here around 19:00 on a Friday. We were the only people eating there. You would expect extra service.. but no one came over to ask if everything is okay. Some B brand Cola for €3,90 and Egg and cold ham on a pizza (more like a wrap).. they only have 3 types of gluten free pasta (don’t have gluten free pizza). It’s only a few pieces of pasta. tasted just like pasta with thin tomato sauce. Honestly it wasn’t worth the money, small portions, tasteless and overpriced. We ended up disappointed and hungry. Also when we asked the bill (even tho the place was empty) it never came until we were walking out. Not recommended.

This was the best meal I have had in many, many years. The bread starter was delicious and fresh. The pizza was the Horta - humus. Fantastic, I've never had one like this before. Thin base, salty taste. Lambs lettuce topped with lemon, mushroom and walnuts. What a flavour combination! The dessert was sublime, chocolate mousse. The taste was bitter and sweet with a tartness from the raspberries. To top it all the drink was 'juice of the day', what a mix, I just can't remember what all the juices were, there were so many! The meal was the food highlight to our few days in Lisbon. Excellent value and I can do no more than highly recommend Stella Saldanha. Oh, and attentive helpful staff. Definitely a restaurant I would return to again and again. Please...
