Bono Cucina — Restaurant in Lisbon

We went to dine in order to celebrate a special occasion. Unfortunately, the experience was deeply disappointing. The main courses were served either cold or undercooked, and to our shock, we even discovered a label mixed in with the pasta. What was most unacceptable, however, was the complete lack of accountability. The chef who had personally served the dishes did not make any attempt to apologize, and instead, a waitress was sent merely to inform us that a dessert would be offered. At no point did anyone acknowledge the seriousness of the situation or offer a proper apology. The presence of plastic in the food is not only unacceptable but also potentially hazardous to health. Furthermore, the gesture of offering a dessert as compensation was entirely inadequate and disproportionate to the severity of the incident. Seriously overpriced restaurant for the food you get. Decided to splash out and treat my daughter and I to the shared t-bone steak for 65 euros as there is no other beef meal on the menu. It was a steak big enough for one person and can't with a side of potatoes and vegetables that was also big enough for one person. The plate arrived at the table and I thought there may be a second plate coming. We went to the Aldi for more food afterwards and we are not big eaters. A complete and utter rip off. Everything is overpriced on the menu and there is nothing special. Starters were average to say the least. Lots of better places to choose from...

This place is an utter disappointment!

The food was subpar and the prices inflated. The center of the fish was completely raw and the sides overcooked. How can you even achieve that? The oven potatoes were dry in the middle and bland overall. The risotto portion was tiny for 20 euros. To top it all off, they ask a tip of minimum 10% over their very high prices.

Don’t fall for the fake and bought and very generic 5-star reviews. This place is a 2-star on a good day.

The only nice thing about this experience was the nice waitress. Hope she finds a better place to...
