Went as a group of three for tea/coffee with a view.
Coffee was awful - really burnt. When asking not to pay for the coffee I hadn’t drunk, the waiter was very annoyed as “I didn’t make it. That is just how it comes out of the machine.” Suggested we should have said something earlier but in the hour we sat there, not once did any wait staff come to check on our table. Besides, coming off such a low bar (and if it’s just the machine’s fault), then I really doubt a remake would have been satisfactory.
If you’d like to have a beer, aperol etc. I am sure this is a good location as the view is terrific. However, definitely do not visit...
Read moreI've been here a couple times, and it's usually an excellent experience. However, tonight we ordered two grilled cheese with ham, which were 4.50 on the menu. When we went to pay, the bill said 5 euros each, so I asked the cashier about it. She showed me a different menu, to which I showed her the one I ordered off of where the price of 4.50 was highlighted and clearly legible. She said that was the old price, and passed us over to her manager. The manager was then rude and refused to honor the old price. The atmosphere was the perfect for an end of tour around the church and monuments BUT the lazy and ill-will of the serving staff and the wrong choice of the band who was playing, ruined the otherwise perfect sundowner.
