We ate here by accident. We had just finished a walking tour in the area and this restaurant stood out to us with it's bright colors. I was ecstatic to find out they serve indian food. We ate here on 12/25/24. We ordered butter chicken, lamb, chicken tandoor (so juicy), samosa and some drinks. My kids love the mango lassi! They even put crushed almonds for texture. The food is superb! The staff is wonderful! They were very attentive to me and my family. At the end of the meal, they serve mint, which my 7 year old absolutely loved! I asked them where to find it, so they pointed me to the store nearby. Fast forward to 12/27/24, our last day in Portugal. My husband had a craving for the cooking at Putpari, so we went back there for our last dinner in Portugal. And what do you know -- the server, Veer, asked my son, if he bought the mint! He remembered my son loves it. I thought it was very nice of him to even ask. We ordered the same thing, because why not? :) If you are in the area, please support them! It is truly a jewel of...
Read moreI had an incredible dining experience at this gem of a restaurant. The Goan curry was rich, vibrant, and bursting with flavor — perfectly balanced with just the right amount of heat and spice. It transported me straight to the coastal kitchens of Goa.
The Tikka Masala (or as the menu charmingly called it, "Tiki Missalah") was equally outstanding — creamy, tangy, and deeply satisfying. The chicken was tender and infused with flavor, and the sauce was so good I found myself scooping up every last bit with the naan.
The staff were warm, attentive, and happy to explain the dishes, and the atmosphere was cozy yet vibrant. Whether you're a longtime lover of Indian food or just dipping your toes in, this place is a must-visit. I can’t wait to come back and try more from their...

What stood out was their willingness to customize! We asked for chai with ginger and elaichi, and they made it perfectly. The Goan chicken curry was a revelation – a unique and delicious departure from the usual Indian restaurant offerings. We loved it so much, we ordered extra for our flight home! The bhel and golgappa were spot-on, bringing back fond memories.
