We are in Lisbon from Australia for 3 days and came here twice. If I lived here I’d be here weekly at a minimum. We are also vegetarian and the options were surplus to need. The chef sources fantastic produce and also has a fantastic attitude. I was almost in tears at points. We have eaten every meal out for the last 30 days in this beautiful country and this is hands down, without a second thought, the best. He is not a chef, he is a wizard, a philosopher, a poet who writes with food. Please come here. We had the stuffed tomatoes and the grilled vegetables and cous cous salad, olives, sangria, bread with cheese and tapenade. His prices are very competitive. I tipped both times and we do not come from a tipping culture. I wish only the best for this man and his life. Lovingly producing what he does deserves nothing but love and good things in return. This will be in my top memories of dining experiences of life. and I am not unaccustomed with high quality cuisine. Please, you need to eat here. And chef, my friend whose name I did not ask. May this world also provide you with whatever you want. You are a wonderful human who deserves everything you...
Read moreAsked for a Prego without cheese because I’m lactose intolerant. And there were no other mention of any other dairy ingredients. The prego came on soup of cream, which I turned it back and explained I couldn’t eat dairy. Then the owner came to the table furious because I did not said I was lactose intolerant which I didn’t feel the need to say since no other dairy ingredient was mention on the menu in the dish. And he said I should have had and they don’t need to say in the menu the prego comes on a soup of cream. I would be ok with it if he had talked on a polite manner but he was surly and in rage. Never again. Additional note to the owner reply: there’s no revenge. This is the most unbiased and honest review. You came to the table and argued in a raging manner, I immediately paid the service, including the prego (that never came back without the sauce) and left. I clearly can see a pattern on your replies to negative reviews here on google, just like the argue on the table. Even if you were right, the tone and harsh way you talked to us, were...
Read moreThis place is a such a gem! It was recommended by our amazing walking tour guide! My husband and I are vegetarian and so far on our trip we have resorted to Italian food for easy veggie options. Until we found this place. We finally got to try some authentic Portuguese dishes and they were absolutely delicious. We got the folhado de queijo brie(Brie cheese), cogumelos (mushrooms), e compote de cebola (sweet onion) and we inhaled it - it was divine. We also got their prego with seitan, soup of the day (mushroom), and a bottle of vino verde. They have had the most number of vegetarian versions of authentic Portuguese dishes and everything we got was so so good and such great value, superb service! We have one more day here and will be back for sure. Can’t recommend this place enough, definitely worth trying if you’re in Graca (or making the trip if you’re a vegetarian craving authentic...
