Gelatopia - Gelados de Sonho (C.Ourique) — Restaurant in Lisbon

Liliane from Brazil was very helpful and I got to taste the whole array of flavors.

There was commentary on the non-use of sugar that can be the downfall of good ingredient combination if it’s too sweet or uses artificial sweeteners (also depending on the type of sweetener as this can affect the texture and more besides). I enjoyed most of the flavors though didn’t agree that lemon didn’t have added sugar as it was sweet (so must have had some addition of sugar or artificial sweetener?).

There are not so many flavors thou what is there is imo good enough to add some calories 😉.

Coming here for the second time, as tourists, in one year for the amazing dark chocolate brownie and premium pastel de nata :) Also tried the artisanal ice cream, coffee and chocolate and banana, and it was absolutely great! Huge assortment of flavours. Restaurant is a small yellow-painted cosy place, family like. Unexpectedly good! I went there without reading reviews and didn’t expect anything outstanding but ice cream is just magnificent! Very delicious. There is no big variety of flavors (around 8-10) during summer they are mainly fruits based : strawberries, lemon, peach, passion fruit. They have flavor of the week. Small portion (2 flavors) 3€, totally worth it. There are tables outside. And what I personally liked it is that gelato stored in closed containers...
