Where to start? Mar&Nada is the one restaurant you should dine at on your Lisbon vacation. Warm and welcoming service and a very passionate chef Verónica Catarino who couldn’t be more happy to recommend her flavoursome dishes. Dining at the bar gave a great insight into the kitchen and the work that goes into EVERY dish. Would absolutely recommend the Stingray and seaweed purée, an exquisitely tasting dish. The chocolate mousse dessert was like nothing you’d ever try anywhere else, garnished with salt, peri peri and oil. Just wow! Dine here if you wish to have the freshest of seafood, oysters and tastiest dishes on the Lisbon food radar. Will...
Read moreOur meal at Mar & Nada featured fresh and creative dishes clearly made with care and love by a visionary woman chef, Veronica Catarino. The clams in butter sauce were delectable. The rayfish with seaweed puree and parsnip crisps was unique and such a wonderful blend of textures and flavors. I don't even like sardines, but the sardines on toast were so delicious that I relished every bite. The chef clearly pours her heart into every dish and the staff was so friendly and hospitable. The prices are also very reasonable and I was very impressed with the value of what you get for the cost. I highly and enthusiastically recommend this...

It’s gourmet food but humble and made with love and local ingredients. This is what other restaurants want to be. You can sit solo at the bar or bring 20 guests like we did. I don’t know who the owner is, but I’d suspect they are one of the younger folks that knows their job, their dishes and how to do restaurant stuff that we met during our visit. Everything was superb. The oysters were amazing as well. They tasted like the ocean. Highly...
