Well, butter my bread and call me a pastel de nata, visiting Pink Street in Lisbon in was like stepping into a bubblegum-flavored time warp! 🍬🇵🇹 So picture this: I'm strolling through the charming streets of Lisbon, admiring the historic architecture and soaking in the sunshine like a cat on vacation. And then, bam! Suddenly I'm face-to-face with a street that looks like it got into a passionate love affair with a flamingo and decided to dye itself pink from head to toe. Walking down Pink Street is like being in a cotton candy paradise, but instead of sugary fluff, it's made of funky bars, quirky shops, and tourists from every corner of the globe. It's like a United Nations of Pinkness, with people chattering away in languages I never even knew existed. I half-expected a local artist to pop out from behind a corner and serenade us with a Portuguese version of "Barbie Girl." Now, let's talk about the nightlife. The bars along Pink Street were like a circus for grown-ups – with neon lights, lively music, and cocktails that could probably power a disco ball. It's the kind of place where you'd find a drink that changes colors when you spin it, and you'd end up sipping it like a sophisticated scientist in a lab coat. But here's the real kicker: Pink Street isn't just about the color, it's about the atmosphere. Everyone's there to have a blast, from solo travelers looking for a wild night out to groups of friends who've made a pact to dance like nobody's watching. Even the shyest wallflowers couldn't resist tapping their toes and getting caught up in the contagious energy. And did I mention the Instagram opportunities? Pink Street practically screams "post me on your feed!" It's the kind of place where even your camera develops a sweet tooth. But as they say, all bubblegum things must come to an end. Eventually, the night grew late, the pink lights dimmed, and I found myself walking away from Pink Street with a heart full of fun memories and a newfound appreciation for the color pink. So, if you ever find yourself in Lisbon and want to experience a street that's sweeter than a Portuguese custard tart, make your way to Pink Street. Just be prepared for a vibrant pink overload that's sure to tickle your taste buds and your funny bone! 🌸🎉

Pink Street: More Hype Than Heartbeat Pink Street, while undeniably Instagrammable, was a bit of a letdown. The vibrant hue certainly catches the eye, but the street itself is surprisingly short and lacking in any real substance. It felt more like a backdrop for photos than a destination in itself. However, the Music Box was a pleasant surprise. This intimate club had a cool vibe and interesting music, making it a fun spot to hang out. Though small, it definitely packed more of a punch than Pink Street itself. Overall, if you're in the area, a quick stroll down Pink Street is fine for the photo op. But if you're looking for a memorable experience, head straight to the Music Box and skip the underwhelming pink pavement.

Z hali Time Out Market można dojść na piechotę w 4 minuty. A najbliższa stacja metra Cais do Sodré jest tylko 3 minuty spacerem. W wielu przewodnikach to miejsce jest wpisane jako „MUST HAVE” do zobaczenia i zrobienia zdjęć. Nice place for a photo. I recommend going in the morning if you're just looking to get a photo, as it was not busy at all around 10AM and we got a lot of photo opportunities with 0 people in the background. It is beautiful, but the colors are not as vibrant in person and most of the photos on social media are definitely edited. In the morning there is really no activity here as it's a nightlife centric street, and the shop owners are still busy cleaning up the street from the night before. You won't find any cute cafes, shops, etc. during the day time but I didn't mind that. Spent around 15 minutes here and then moved on.

Lots of bars and clubs on Pink Street. Many people come out for the happy hour deals. Even if you don't drink come to see the hanging umbrellas and painted street that have taken off on Instagram. You may also catch street artists entertaining the tourists. We had to get past a drag act on rollerblades once 😆 One for the LGBTQ to make a trip to. This was previously the red light district. It's not quite sanitised though as drug dealers are known to operate around here. Just say no! It's not worth it! Follow here and the IG link in profile for more travel and food and drink tips, ideas and reviews!

This location is rather underwhelming. It's a short street where they have painted the road pink and hung umbrellas above. That is it. There are some restaurants down there but they were all deserted and over the top encouraging waiters were hanging around outside trying to beckon people in - to no avail. Not helped by the street looking tatty, dirty and dark even with the road painted pink. A couple of pictures of the Umbrellas taken and it was time to move on. Not really worth a long walk to get to, but since we were walking around the area it wasn't that much of a loss.
