Stumbled on this restaurant after viewing some property. It was a cold drizzly day and we were famished so we rushed in not really considering much, but boy were we pleasantly surprised.

We were warmly welcomed and taken to our seat. Rustic and authentic space with beautiful stained glass. Restaurant was busy with patrons which is always a good sign. We were handed menus and received translations.

After placing our orders we enjoyed bread with a sardine pate and creamy cheese. The main meals were standout. My friend had the grouper with shrimp rice which came out not as we expected. Steaming in an iron pot, soupy. We had to ask for spoons as all the goodness of the meal was necessary. Note I said 'we'😂.

All in all a wonderful experience and I will definitely be back there and I will order...

Cozy neighborhood restaurant serving Portuguese fare. This is exactly what I would expect from a restaurant that prides to serve the neighborhood families and the occasional tourists like our family. Menu options are good for fish and meat lovers, they have few options available for vegetarians though. We had dinner twice and in both cases we chose to eat the fish that was on display and were never disappointed. The wood fired oven cooked pork is also a delicacy if you fancy this kind of food. The quality of the meals was excellent and portions are generous, kids and adults alike loved them, including the yummy home made desserts. Good selection of Portuguese wines and attentive and courteous service. We hope to come again and we warmly recommend...

I don't get the high rating for this place... The food is very very simple (not restaurant like, more school cafetaria or quick lunch at home like) and yet, this place is much more expensive than all the other restaurants in the area. We would have given it 3 stars if their prices were a better reflection of the food). It was not bad but it clearly was the most disappointing food experience in Lisbon. No issue with the service or the atmosphere (that probably is better suited for elderly people, we assumed), we were very nicely treated in a...

Family run, typical Portuguese food, served with style! We had two plates from the plate of the day menu and a bottle of the house wine(having their own label is a nice touch!) I had battered and fried fish fillets with rice and my wife had Bacalhau. Both dishes were served hot and quickly. The team at the restaurant was very attentive. Loved the stained glass, and will say it was a very enjoyable lunch experience. Will definitely be back!

Great quality food and service. I have had the Hunk of Steak on hot stone (not the sirloin version) and the cut of beef must be of a very high grade for its price. The flavours poured through and paired with reasonably priced wine made a very delicious meal. Very good portion for the cost (for myself the half bottle of red with the steak cost around €30)
