The ramen is incredible but they could give more attention to the customer and systematize table management better. We were 2 people and we spent more than 20 minutes waiting outside on the cold and shortly after we arrived, 2 people had finished eating and left. That space for 2 was left uncleaned for a long time and after a while we were invited to sit. In other words, the time we waited outside on the cold with the table free inside was enough to eat and leave. I don't know how the waitress manages the tables but that way wasn't the most efficient at all. Furthermore, she could give more attention to the customer, ask if everything was ok, be more friendly or simply smile. Still about the ramen, the pork ramen with spicy level 0 leaves me with a terrible taste of raw garlic in my mouth until the next day. This last visit was not a good experience at all. I will think a lot about if I will return...

The vegan ramen is simply delicious and I highly recommend everyone who likes ramen to try this place!

The ambient and interior design is very minimalistic and holds true to the name as the cutlery and bowls are stainless steel and look like they’re borrowed from a cantina. The quality of the food, however, is not comparable to a cantina but many levels above any cantina I’ve been to. Be prepared to wait a few minutes though, as the space inside is very limited. The tofu in the vegetarian ramen was very crisply and tasted incredible!

When arriving at the restaurant, you need to go to the window towards the street and let them write your name down. That way they can call you up once they are ready to take your order and let you take a seat inside. We had approximately 6 people who already waited when we arrived and it took about 15 minutes to...

🫶reasons to love:

•The mochi. We started with 1, and ended up eating 3. If you like mochi, you have to try! •The down to earth yet hip vibes •The tofu ramen! (I had the best breaded tofu of my life and the broth was better than the beef)

🔻could’ve been better:

•Service could have been friendlier, but I don’t think that’s the vibe they are going for.

🍻bonus: you can grab beers while waiting for your table. (yes, you’ll likely to wait if you go during the hot days/hours)

📒 good to know: the menu is super simple! there are 3 types of ramen (beef, pork, tofu), and one more option that is bigger and a mix of 3 proteins. Be careful with your spice level (0-5), even 3 was a little too spicy for me.

👩🏼‍⚖️sum:

Would I come back? Probably! I think this is a cool spot to catch up with a friend while eating yummy...

We google "ramen near me" the first night we stay in Principe Real. We went to try it and it! Was mind blowing to find such a good noodle cantine. The place is small. Expect queues but food comes out fast. Menu is very simple, basically noodles soup chinese-style done in perfection. You can choose the level if spiciness (i think the spicy flavor comes from sezhuan pepper. The Big Panda comes with slightly more noodle and 3 toppings (pork, beef. And tofu). The small one only has 1 topping of your choice. Price is very decent €9.30 (S) and €11.90 (L). They also serve beer, water, rea and coffee. We have been back 3 times on out 7 nights in Lisbon. Such comforting for winter nights. Thank you.
