Perfect for an early dinner after a long days travelling. Set on a square and has a more Cafe section on one side and a more formal restaurant looking section beside it. The area is full of bars and restaurants but seeing a table outside to that had just become free we nabbed it. Fast, friendly service. A large sliced steak with fries and vegables, two portions of octopus, a bottle of wine, water and some bread, olives and cheese, to start came to €75 for three. Fantastic value and gave us enough energy to keep exploring Lisbon for many, many hours. Too sum up, great value, great food, excellent location. I look forward to going again.

Grateful to find this restaurant that was still open for lunch at 3pm Tuesday when all other area restaurants were closed! Lovely terrace outside in the shade, with a view of the tree-lined park with a playground, great to bring kids while enjoying a cool drink and delicious food. The grilled octopus (Polvo a Lagareiro) was so yummy and great value at 17 euros for 3 huge tentacles, enough to share. My daughter loved her Bitoque Na Frigideira, a traditional Portuguese dish of thin steak with fried egg covered in sauce that’s so addicting! A great neighborhood restaurant in Bairro Alto full of locals with a welcoming chill vibe.

Went for lunch with a friend 2 weeks back on a Sunday. The weather was fickle but we decided to sit outside. It was beautiful until there was a big shower :) The food was nice. We ordered choco frito to share which came with a mint mayo. The crunch was perfect but I missed the mint in the mayo. Our bottle of white was refreshing with the seafood. For Mains we ordered octopus, very well cooked. We did order dessert and coffee but I can't remember which one. Overall experience was nice. It felt like traditional Portuguese food presented in modern ways. Good experience.

I cannot eat pork or its fat, asked in this restaurant to have the burger with everything but without the bacon, my friend asked if we can get the bacon on the side to give it to her dog who was under the table, and we told the guy to put it on the side 4 times in English and Portuguese, then the burger came Offcourse with the bacon inside it! My friend explained to them that for religious reasons I cannot eat it soaked with the bacon fat and it needs to be remade, they just removed it and brought it back, then they made a new one with cold cheese, no kimchi nor onion (unlike the first one), just tiny cut of tomato and luttece with the meat and cheese fridge temperature! I think they even replaced the potato chips with oily ones ! Not to mention the long face every time he passes by or the lack of apology when he slapped the burger on the table

What kind of server/person punches the clients for his...

we had a very bad experience. our 1st waitress was nice but changed when we complained about both dishes. we both ordered a steak. meat was very tough and cold. The fries we got seemed to be double fried, soaked in oil, and also cold. When we told this, we said we were going to look for another dish. However, we decided to go to another restaurant. When we asked for the bill, the waiter became rude and told us that the cook was already preparing 2 new entrecotes. We did not ask for this. This made the waiter even ruder and almost threw the receipt on the table. a very unprofessional attitude. We had to pay for half a bottle of water and 2 cokes. After payment he walked away without saying anything. People around us also had complaints but did not dare to say anything. I will not recommend this...
