Retro Wine Lounge - Wine Bar & Tasting Room — Restaurant in Lisbon

I recently visited this charming wine bar with a friend, and it was truly an unforgettable experience. The selection of wines was exceptional, offering a variety of unique and intriguing options that delighted our palates. We paired the wines with a selection of cheeses, which were simply outstanding – perfectly curated to complement the flavors of the wines.

What made the evening truly special, however, was the warm and attentive service provided by the owner. He went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, sharing his deep knowledge of the wines and ensuring we had the best experience possible. His passion for his craft was evident in every recommendation and in the care he showed throughout our visit.

I found Retro Wine Lounge on a whim as I was seeking local wine bars to spend an hour or two in while visiting Lisboa. I am SO happy that Retro Wine Lounge is the one I discovered on Google Maps and ventured to. This neighborhood gem is incredibly authentic and has a warm, inviting atmosphere and a tremendously hospitable and knowledgeable host in Daniel. Daniel went out of his way to tell me more about the origins of the green wine I enjoyed, as well as the premium cheeses! Everything was sumptuous. Retro Wine Lounge is a must if you're visiting Lisbon and looking for a proper local wine bar with a cozy atmosphere. Not to mention: Daniel has great taste in music! He was playing American soul classics when I went. I will definitely go back next time...

I was in Lisbon for the month of July. I know very little about wine and I wanted to learn more about Portuguese wines. After some online searching, I found the Retro Wine Lounge was a short walk from my residence. The host was amazing! Very welcoming, knowledgeable and excited to teach and help your explore various wines to find what you like. And there's jazz in the background!

I discovered some new wines, got several good recommendations, and had some really good tastings. It was hard to pick a favorite. I had some gourmet cheeses and sausages with my wine and listened to great music. Wonderful experience and host. I will return and bring...
