Sal e Brasas is a hidden gem in the heart of Lisbon—on a recent weeknight experience was nothing short of delightful. Jocilene's warm greeting set the tone, making me feel immediately at home. Diane, my attentive server, took my order with a genuine smile and followed up throughout my meal, ensuring every detail was just right. Opting for their house red wine to start, I paired it with a plate featuring the star of the show – the picanha, accompanied by flavorful garlic rice and perfectly cooked beans. The combination was not just a meal; it was a culinary symphony. Each bite was a testament to the chef's expertise in seasoning, making it a must-try for anyone exploring the vibrant flavors of Lisbon. I couldn't help but draw a comparison to Fogo, and dare I say, Sal e Brasas outshone its competitor. The picanha here boasts a richness and tenderness that elevate it above the rest. In conclusion, Sal e Brasas is a culinary haven that exceeded my expectations. To the entire team, thank you for crafting an unforgettable dining experience. I'll undoubtedly be returning to savor more of your exceptional offerings.

It could be much better. It has a lot of potencial. The meat was very good quality, but they overdone the stake, we asked for medium it came medium-done. And while the name of the restaurant has salt in is name, the amount of salt they put in the stake, would kill you.. it only tasted like salt the stake and I had to take most of it off. The side dishes were ok, not remarkable. House made potatoes, that for me did not pair well with a stake. The price, as also ok. Overall was a 4 star experience, but has potential to be more.

I came here because i was waiting for my bus back to the algarve after a stay in lisbon, i like quality food so looked for a nice steak place nearby. Found the place, for seated right away, food was nice, not amazing as the picanha had so much fat on it that i felt sick. I don’t mind a bit but this was half of the plate. The worst part was that i decided to have cheese and olives to start and i hadn’t even eat a piece of my cheese before the meal arrived! (literally 2-3 minutes after i ordered everything) the girl just replied picanha is made fast and smirked so i just put the meal aside and eat my starter, so then the meal was cold after. My biggest critic for this restaurant is the staff! i found them rude, unsociable and incompetent to work with the public. Not one of them enjoyed there place of work , none smiled and at the end when i asked if i could leave a tip by card as i had no cash, she replied no ( that was it ) and left my table. Not that they deserved a tip anyway but as im in this line of work and have my own restaurant i know heavily staff rely on tips!! just the attitude was enough to make me feel disheartened. Make peoples day and be happy , don’t live a...
