Sushi dos Sá Morais — Restaurant in Lisbon

At first, I want to say that the sushi is at the same level as the sushi of the most "all you can eat" restaurant but they just act cooler and more expensive than the other without any reason. But, what make me give just 1 point is this: we was two and chose the combo menù where you have unlimited sushi pieces chosen by the sushiman, so we tought that we had to say "stop" when full enough. Instead, after the FIRST mixed sushi plate the staff say "stop" to us and even if we was still hungry it was impossible for us to have more food. So, the "UNLIMITED PIECES" wrote on the menù are basically about 36 pieces of sushi and nothing more. You have to pay extra money if you want to eat more than this, because the staff will come at our table with an attitude with the purpose to make you feel embarassed ordering again. Clearly, they got us in their trap but I work in a restaurant as weel and so I understand perfectly what is their marketing strategy. Really upset to have wasted the last evening of holiday...

Wow.. I’m not a heavy eater and this place made me starve. Where is the rest of my sushi 😂 did you forget to put more? I ordered Quim Oto, spent 27.30 euros. In the description, it says combination of 18 mixed pieces of sushi and sashimi chosen by the chef. I only got TWO nigiri sushi, 10 tiny pieces of rolls (four didn‘t even have fish in them, it was just fried rice rolls with seaweed lol) I don’t know, i would have expected to feel not hungry, as this is a meal, but after this I made a cup ramen. Em tempos um dos melhores sushis a nível de qualidade/preço, contudo, em particular no último ano tem vindo a piorar drasticamente, conforme ficou demonstrado nesta última (literalmente a última, já que não conto voltar) reserva.

Todos os combinados indicam ter peixe branco, atum e salmão. Pedimos um combinado de 22 peças, nada nos foi dito pelo funcionário, e o combinado de 22 peças, era essencialmente um combinado composto por 2 peças com peixe branco e o resto 20 peças oriundas da mesma peça de salmão com cortes diferentes, sem qualquer originalidade tirando dois gunkans com um ovo de codorniz cru, uma tristeza, pelo menos 12 peças eram todas iguais com ovas de tamanhos diferentes. Confrontei um funcionário e nada me soube dizer, encolhia os ombros e depois disse que o menu tinha mudado há uns dias, o que não era verdade. Lá tive de chamar outro funcionário e explicar que aquilo, face ao que estava no menu, era uma vergonha e que estavam a enganar o consumidor, depois de vai e volta à gerência, que nunca deu a cara (vergonha, atendendo a que estavam presentes gerentes, 1 senhora e 1 senhor) , lá disseram que falharam, que os funcionários têm de explicar aos clientes o conteúdo dos menus, em particular daquele combinado, mas que se esqueceram. Apenas um pedido de desculpa esfarrapado, sem qualquer atenção.

A qualidade do sushi uns dias é mediana, outros boa, outros fraca. Está explicada a existência de um desconto de 30% há tantos meses.

Não volto e não recomendo, com muita pena. Num mercado com tanta oferta de sushi, deixou de se destacar e nem como...
