TLÁLOC - UN RINCÓN MEXICANO — Restaurant in Lisbon

I’m always lazy in writing reviews but I really appreciate this restaurant. First of all, the food is great, fresh and authentic Mexican food. We ordered the two lunch sets, one burrito and one taco, and as you can see in the photos, the portions are decent, and the burrito fillings are plenty and delicious. It also comes with sides like fries, salad, rice and a drink of choice. We also had a jalapeno entrada, it was very good as well. The menu set was ard 10€, which was a great bargain. We met the boss Kapil there, had some wonderful chat, he's a super nice person with lots of passion in running a good restaurant. The food was absolutely delicious. We ordered the beef birria, al pastor, and beans…everything was beyond flavorful - especially the consommé . We also had chips, pico de gallo, and guacamole, all fresh and perfectly seasoned.

One major standout was the habanero sauce. It packed the right amount of heat and depth.

I’m usually hesitant to try Mexican food outside of Mexico and the USA as it often ends up being a disappointment. But this was quite possibly the best Mexican food I’ve had outside of those countries and definitely the best in Lisbon.

We absolutely love Tláloc! I'm from California and grew up with Mexican food. We always try out new places that open in Lisbon, and without a doubt, Tláloc is the best Mexican restaurant in the city. Everything is fresh and made to order, and the staff is warm and welcoming. We've had excellent tacos (fish, shrimp, carnitas), fajitas, and enchiladas. The homemade guacamole and chips are amazing, not to mention the desserts. And don't miss the margaritas - including a delicious chili margarita. We've been back several times and can't wait for next time....
