Sephora — Local services in Lisbon

I stop by there sometimes and try the products then buy some. But I am not going there anymore and may go to other shops. The other day I was going to buy one after I tried then was trying the other one. 3 staffs came to me each time to ask me if I wanted to get some help. So I said that I didn’t want. Then the last staff said to me that it’s not the place for making up yourself and only for trying . I felt kind of embarrassed and he could have said in a nice way. He gave me some advices on the item I was seeing. But I didn’t feel like taking that one and just bought the first one I saw. The good thing to go to Sephora is I could try and buy ones but this branch seems not...

Was looking for some Kat von D studded lipsticks. There were only 4 testers. So was looking for some help. Some girl was chatting with her coworker and i was looking at here if she noticed me. Finally she did and said something in Portugees. Told here only englisch please. She said she will be right by me to help. Took 5 minutes! There were no other clients. I asked if there are more testers. Answer was no and she walked away with no explanation. I thougt she maybe was asking someone for testers. I just waited. And there the girl was checking her own makeup in the mirror! She saw me looking and comes running yeah no testers sorry. I just walked away not...

The staff are friendly enough if you need their help, but on two separate visits I was given the wrong product and/or product shade by the assistants after talking in detail about what product/shade they recommended…not sure if this is because their drawers are somehow always disorganized or if the staff are mentally checked out but the fact that this has happened multiple times now makes me hesitant to shop here again as it’s incredibly annoying to come home and open something that was not what you intended to buy, and an annoying hassle to keep going back to exchange things that should have been easy enough to get right...
