I was in Lisbon for almost three weeks and couldn't help but return to Adriana's. A beautiful place with a relaxed atmosphere, with tasteful details and soft background music... within minutes you feel at home. In addition to the kindness, discretion and friendliness of charming Adriana (very good at recommending wines, which by the way are excellent), you can enjoy excellent dishes prepared by the skilful hands of Lucas. They will easily satisfy you with delicious brunch, lunch and dinner (Thursday and Friday they are open until 10pm). And if you are vegetarian, there is plenty of choice. From the very beginning it was love at first sight and so I have returned several times, always feeling warmly welcomed. As if that were not enough, there is a small shop with all kinds of international gastronomic products and an exhibition space/shop on the upper floor, where you can find super cool works by different artists, t-shirts, prints, posters, postcards and plenty of fancy gadgets (not the usual 'tourist stuff'). When I return to Lisbon, I will know that home is in Rua Marcos Portugal: thank you for making my stay unforgettable, you are...
Read moreIf I could, I would give it 6 stars for the avocado toast. I could eat another one right now. 😋Just imagine sliced avocado on top of crushed tomatoes with a slight flavor of garlic sitting on a thick slice of warm sourdough bread. Hmmm. Each bite is a delight!! Delicious and totally worth 10€. The orange zest flavor is barely noticeable but also not needed in my opinion.
The latte (3€) with oat milk (+0.5€) is the perfect combo.
I had a taste of the banana bread with ginger honey and it’s not the most favorable combination in my opinion. It would go much better with walnuts, vanilla powder sugar or chocolate nibs.
Love the small terrace with 4 tables facing the small square. Want to sit in the sunshine? Come in the afternoon.
Vegan options for breakfast include avocado toast, porridge and banana bread without ginger honey.
Beatrice is a wonderful, attentive and caring waitress.
Opening hours: 10am until 6pm (sat/sun 4pm)

Read moreI recently met with a friend at this charming establishment for a mid-afternoon lunch. The location is not too far from the Bohemian Principe Real neighborhood down the hill but not too far from the Museu Nacional de Historia and Sciencia. This cafe occupies a corner location, serving incredibly flavorful vegetarian/pescatarian artisanal food served by a gracious host and prepared by a talented chef. Inside and up a flight of stairs features the Wel Well Shop “Club.yin", a second-hand designer clothing bazaar with plenty of authentic designer stylish options. I walked out with a beautiful vintage French-made leather jacket that has become a staple in my wardrobe. I plan to return to eat and recycle some of the designer vintage clothing I have collected over time.
While they offer a small spot for outdoor seating, we opted for an indoor spot. The place is very relaxing, and the staff is welcoming and friendly. So comfortable you may want to stay...
