O'Neills — Restaurant in Loulé

Very disappointed with meal tonight. Ordered 3 meals and only 2 came to the table. After 5 minutes I enquired where the other one was. O it must have been left behind in the kitchen. When waitress returned she said it was his behind a pillar. Zero marks for service. Now for the good point. The Burger was fine hence the one star. I hot the Piri chicken. It was like cardboard and I struggled to cut it will the knife. The third meal, the one we were left waiting for was the fish and chips. There were several pieces of 'fish' surrounded by lots of batter. In fact there was very little fish , just batter. All of meals came with fries , which were dried up frozen chips. At no stage did any of the waiting staff inquire now the meal was . I went to the counter to pay and still no enquiry as how the meal was so I have my feedback to the person behind the bar who said that she would let the chef know . Shocking Service!!!, I haven’t been in O Neil’s in a few years and I did hear that it has a new owner, you can obviously tell the standard is the poorest of the poor… it’s very sad to see what has happened to this great bar, we can tell that the new people in charge have invested to do up the inside which is a nice interior but the atmosphere stinks! I’m only here to see the 6 Irish men, but for advice to others I’d stay far away. We had to clear our own table after we finished eating which in my eyes just shows how downhill this bar has gone! The staff show no interest in their job and are just standing around when there is clearly work around to be done… for example when we arrived the whole outdoor bar had used glasses etc sitting on it...

Ordered two breakfasts for myself and my partner. He ate the bacon and tried some of the sausage and mushrooms and that was it. The eggs looked poached and fried at the same time, hard in the middle. Tasted like the oil had not been changed in a while. Quite poor meals and the staff did not ask if everything was OK, despite it being very quiet and there was 4 of them standing around, so weren't particularly busy. We were sitting outside and there was one other customer. A young lady took the plates and didn't say anything about my partners full plate of food left over. Just walked off.

Don't like making a fuss so we just paid and left. I also asked where the toilets were and was told they were closed, as a pregnant...
