This is.. by far… hands down… the BEST SEAFOOD restaurant, I EVER encountered. Every single time, friends ask me where to go in Porto/Portugal, this restaurant, is on top of the list. No one has ever left disappointed. The consistency, the professionalism, the freshness of the all of the food, the flavours, the pairing of the wines- they have one of, if not THE best wine sommeliers- seriously, their attention to detail and customer service, is unmatched! They even offer a selection of olive oils, to better pair with your food. The deserts, are also to die for as they carry a delicious selection of what’s in season, the most popular, and the most traditional. To finish the meal (and to help process all of that amazing food), you can always order a digestif - like a Portuguese “água ardente”- or a tea, from their well stocked selection. Now, that we live in Portugal, we will be back with EVERY single friend that comes to visit and to celebrate, ANY special occasion.
A special thank you to Serafim and his staff, for always taking care of us, our friends and for making our visits so...

The employees were super attentive and friendly, always making sure my glass was never empty and paying close attention to every detail. Their care and professionalism really stood out.
The restaurant itself has a lovely ambiance – beautifully decorated with a modern yet cozy design. Plus, their extensive wine collection adds an extra touch of elegance to the dining experience.
This is definitely a must-visit for seafood lovers in the Porto area....
Read moreOk so this is a leap I know but in some ways this place reminds me of Le Bernardin NYC . One, they specialize in seafood, which, by the way here was exquisite. Two the service was impeccable. and three it had the same sort of atmospheric vibe. I want to note, the ceiling was designed to absorb sound, which made the space very pleasant and hushed, so one could have a proper conversation at the table, which was adorned with lovely white tablecloth, and a very thick cotton napkin😉. Yes, it’s pricey, but well worth it and far less expensive then Le Bernardin . So for a upscale, seafood dining experience in Matosinhos this...
