There are better places for a lunch in the area. Too much time spent waiting for an order, more than 30min and the place wasn't near as full as it can get. The menu is just a piece of paper with lunch options for 7€ or 9€, it includes main dish, a drink and coffee. I got a vegetarian francesinha which was just ok, nothing special: it's small, with regular cheese and a small portion of vegetarian sausages without anything else like a sauce or a condiment inside. Fries are served apart. I don't know if all francesinhas are similar here but judging from this one it's definitely not the good one to try for it's price - 9€. There are other places where it served way tastier, bigger and quicker for a lower price. And please for God's sake fix the door in woman's bathroom, it was impossible to keep that...
Read moreWe ordered two Francesinhas, one especiale with 3 types of meat and egg on top for 9,50(was OK) and one francesinha da casa (with shrimps and meat) we asked if its possible to get the francesinha da casa without meat and instead with vegetarian filling as one of us don't eat meat. They said its not possible but they can make it only with shrimps. OK so far. But then it was made with frozen shrimps with horrible taste and they charged the full price of 13€ even it was much less ingredients then the especiale. Read moreWe just had a fantastic lunch at this restaurant. My husband had the (large) tuna salad and I had the Bife a Portobello which was a filet with sautéed portobello and it tasted like a Madeira / BBQ sauce. It was absolutely delicious. We finished it off with Brigadeiros which blew our minds plus delicious, strong coffee. We both have to eat gluten free and we had no problem with any of these dishes. I would add their house wine was better than typical. We will definitely go back! Don't be put off by the name of the restaurant if you're gluten free. We couldn't eat them, but the Francinihas and the pizzas were cooked in a wood fired oven and also...
