Hands down one of the best meals I've ever had! I just happened to find this place because it was open late and right down the street from my accommodation.

The salad spring rolls had a lovely blend of crispy vegetables and a hint of fresh mint, and the sauce that came with them was absolutely incredible - well-balanced flavors of umami, herby, salty & sweet. It was superb. The soup I had was delightful as well, coconut and curry with lemongrass and galangal ginger. Sometimes soups like this can have too much coconut cream and end up greasy but this was just the right balance, nice and light but savory and filling at the same time.

I'm a real foodie and I've eaten a lot of Thai food in my life and this food really was excellent. The owner told me she is from Thailand and that her chefs specialize in the various kinds of Asian food they serve. She was kind enough to take the time to chat with me (and listen to me rave about the food!) and was incredibly kind, knowledgeable about food, and hospitable! The atmosphere at this restaurant is really nice and cozy too, warm lighting and a friendly vibe. Highly...

I had the pleasure of visiting TAB restaurant in Porto recently and I can say with conviction that it is a real gem. From the moment I entered, I felt welcome and well looked after. The ambience is warm and inviting, perfect for a relaxed meal.

The food was simply fantastic. The menu offers a wide selection of delicious dishes, and each one is carefully prepared and presented. The ingredients are fresh and the flavors are superbly balanced.

The service was also first class. The staff were friendly, attentive and always ready to make recommendations and answer questions. It was obvious that they take pride in their restaurant and the food they offer, which made the whole experience even more enjoyable.

I can safely say that Take a Break is one of the best restaurants in Porto. Not only does it offer great food, but also an atmosphere that invites you to linger and enjoy. I will definitely be back and can highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for an unforgettable culinary...

I have ordered a couple of times, their food is incredible... The kanaage chicken is superb.

Called one time to ask what should I order, and the lady who spoke to me advised the drunken chicken noodles, and I can tell you it was delicious.

Have not gone to the restaurant "yet" , but I would bet its 2x better than delivery.

Very good job, Take a Break, can't wait to dine in!!

(Made a reservation for tomorrow(Aug/16/2024) to dine in, will tell you on the weekend, but just ordered today and the food, as always was incredible! Have not been so excited to eat out as I am in years)

I've sadly not at the chance to visit in loco, but they always deliver top shelf food.

There is if, I should mention; do not leave the lemon along with the Kuraage chicken. It ruins the amazing job you do. It's Krispy, tasty, juice, as it should be, the pieces next to the lemon become...

It smelled amazing walking into TAB, which is always a good sign. And it did not disappoint! The Pad Kee Mao was incredibly delicious. We requested a 3 out of 5 for spiciness and next time would ask for a 4. The Somtam (papaya salad) was fine except that in my opinion it needed to be spicier. There was no 1-5 spicy scale on the dish, but if you also like spice, you might be able to request that. For me, the star of the show was the Kao Soi Curry, a northern Thai specialty not often seen on menus outside of Thailand. I had it with chicken and it was soooo good. Not spicy, but it’s not supposed to be. No photos of our entrees, unfortunately, as we dug in immediately. DO make a reservation to ensure you get a table. The place was packed! There was a line out front when it opened. Can’t wait to go back.

some vegan options, which is great! they are able to substitute a lot of ingredients, such as rice noodles instead of egg noodles, taking out egg/meat, etc. HOWEVER! the wontons they advertise as vegan have an egg wash. they told me this beforehand and were very upfront which i appreciated! i decided against ordering it and ordered the curry udon instead, which was probably one of the best curry/noodle soups i’ve ever had. i’m still thinking about it days later. i’d go back and get it if i could! i do find it strange they consider an egg wash vegan though, so keep that in mind and double check! my boyfriend got the basil fried rice with chicken and did not like it, because they used ground chicken. i loved my vegan curry noodles though! highly recommend 10/10.
