We had two fabulous meals at Seoulstice during our recent stay in Porto, and I can't recommend it enough. On our first night, a bit tired, disoriented, and hungry, we stumbled upon Seoulstice, lit up like a beacon on a dark street corner. I mentioned that I'd read about it, and my husband said, "Must be a sign." And it absolutely was.
From the moment we walked in, we felt so welcomed. The space is cozy and simply furnished, with a relaxed, neighborhood vibe and a K-Pop soundtrack setting the tone.
We tried a little bit of everything and loved it all. The crisp mandu were perfect starters, and the corndogs were a fun, tasty accompaniment to cold beers and soju. The honey garlic fried chicken was so good we ordered a second round, crispy, sticky, and perfectly balanced, served with a refreshing sesame-dressed salad. The rose tteokbokki was creamy, just spicy enough (a bit too much for my husband, but I loved it), and honestly, I could have eaten the sauce with a spoon. The bulgogi bowl was another highlight, comforting, homey, and deeply satisfying.
We had such a great experience, we made a point to come back for our last lunch before flying home. Seoulstice was one of our favorite finds in Porto, and we'd highly recommend it to anyone craving delicious, authentic Korean comfort food with a side of warmth and...
ย ย ย Read moreMy house guests were keen on having Korean chicken for dinner on a Monday. Unfortunately Moona Chicken was closed and after researching the area we selected Seoulstice based on their location and ratings. We were not disappointed.
We order a couple of large orders of the chicken, which worked for four people. We also ordered two large fries, and the diakon and spring onion Kim chees. The chicken was excellent, although it could have been spicier. Excellent french fries too. The Kim chee options were not great, cabbage is so much better. If you're a fan of Korean food I suggest going to the Korean market for air flown Kim chee from Korea before ordering your chicken.
I would return if it is a day or time when Moona...

I ordered breaded chicken and the breading and frying werenโt made in the correct way: the breading layer was coming off just by looking at it, it was obvious that it wasn't attached and fried well. Furthermore, the chicken slice was incredibly thin and the breading was the only thing you could feel. That dish doesnโt worth the 14โฌ. We also asked if it was possible to close the door because the cold air was coming in right up to the tables but the young waitress told us that it wasn't possible because it was needed to let air into the kitchen... which means that more than one thing doesn't work well in that kitchen....
